Em and I had a fun visit with Jana, Emma and Abby, I always feel like I'm in the presence of a great miracle  when I'm with these girls!  Happy Birthday Jana!

I have the worst luck with vacuums, I had to change the stupid belt today TWICE!


I've been thinking of my sister all day today as she has her first chemo. I wish I was with her, but only one person can go back with her and today Paul went. I'm praying everything goes well.

When I work, it is sometimes hard to figure out what my picture should be, but today I think Elizabeth's shoes are perfect!

While I was working Robbie made his first wood working project with the tools he got for Christmas.

My husband is so goofy! Imagine my surprise when I went to get eggs this morning.

 

If this is January, I love it!!!! Great walk with my puppies today.

I went with my sister to the oncologist today. I was going to retake this picture, but this one makes me laugh!

Fresh Start

Wow! Two years without a post, some blogger I am.
So this year is going to be different. I guess I feel like I don't
really have much going on, no kids at home.
So not much exciting happens, but it feels like the
years speed by and I don't even know where they go.
So maybe this blog will help.

My goals for 2012 are to take a picture everyday, I will be getting Jill's Canon Rebel soon and I'm very excited  to start learning some things with it. I will be posting those pictures here, sometime with a description, more than likely without one. I hope in doing this I will have more gratitude in my life for the little things. Another goal is to exercise for at least 15 min. 5 days a week. I figure once I get started I'll go longer. Of course to lose 20lbs and eat healthier, blah, blah, blah......


2012 is starting out to be challenging already. Dad on IV antibiotics through a PICC line for endocarditis and Cher starting her battle with breast cancer. We have exciting things going on too. Emily leaves for Amersterdam at the end of this month, I can't wait for the Harris family vacation to Europe in July, and my trip to Cancun with my Rick Sisters in November.

This is Megan at work. I told her about my picture a day project and she said excitedly that she wanted to be today's picture. She is so goofy! I love this girl, she always makes my day more fun.
